Who we are
personal and non-personally identifiable information
When using the Website, you may choose to provide Dependable Forces with certain personally identifiable information about yourself (“Personally Identifiable Information”). Personally Identifiable Information can include your name and email address. In addition, we may also collect non-personally identifiable information, such as IP host address, pages viewed, statistics, browser type, traffic to and from the Website, standard web log information and other data. Dependable Forces may aggregate any such information collected in a manner which does not identify you or any individual (“Aggregate Information”).
Dependable Forces ensure that it is GDPR compliant. Unless disclosed otherwise at the time of collection, we do not share any Personally Identifiable Information you submit through the Website with any unaffiliated third party, unless it is necessary to respond to your inquiry, or to comply with applicable law. We may use Aggregate Information to:
- improve and enhance your experience on the Website,
- customize, measure and further develop our Website and/or services,
- use for our research activities, and
- tell you about our services and/or service updates.
For example, we may share Aggregate Information with unaffiliated third parties, such as business partners, in an aggregate, anonymous form, which means that the shared information will not contain nor be linked to any Personally Identifiable Information.
We will not sell or share your Personally Identifiable Information to any third party not affiliated with Dependable Forces without your consent, except we may do so without your consent in connection with the sale or merger of Dependable Forces or the division responsible for such services.
Please note that we reserve the right to access and/or disclose Personally Identifiable Information and non-personal information we gather to respond to legal requirements imposed by courts or administrative agencies (for example, by court order or subpoena), and to the extent required to permit us to investigate suspected fraud, harassment or other violations of any law, rule or regulation, the Website rules or policies, the rights of third parties, or to investigate any suspected conduct which we deem improper.
The Website uses “cookies” to help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalise the Website pages, or register with Dependable Forces site or services, a cookie helps Dependable Forces to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Website features that you customised.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Website.
